Free Online And Telephone Support Services

This is a weird time on planet earth right now, if you’re noticing negative feelings come up for you like stress, fear, anxiety or hopelessness, that’s okay and a natural reaction to a situation where we do not have control. It is important that we face these feelings and seek help when they are overwhelming or we’d just like some support.
There are some great online and telephone based resources where you can find more information and get counselling. So don’t go it alone, seeking help doesn’t mean that you’re weak, it shows that you have the strength to face challenges head on and learn how to overcome them.

Lifeline is a free 24-hour crisis support phone service.

Call or chat online with a mental health professional confidentially. They are there to listen, provide advice and point you in the right direction to seek further help.

NSW Mental Health Line - 1800 011 511

A free call line where a mental health professional will answer your concerns about your own mental health or the health of someone that you’re concerned about.

Nurse and Midwife Support - 1800 667 877

A 24/7 support line for nurses and midwives who are worried about their health. 

Headspace - 1800 650 890

If you’re under 25, headspace provides free online and telephone counselling. Their online chat is easy to use and free if you don’t like talking on the phone.  

MindSpot Clinic - 1800 61 44 34

Mindspot offers free online assessment and treatment for anxiety and depression in addition to phone based counselling. 

Relationships Australia - 1300 364 277

Times of stress can impact our relationships, relationships Australia provides of relationship support services.  
So don’t forget that you’re not alone in dealing with challenges, there are plenty of free and easy to access resources out there to help!
